Featured Projects

Newcastle, Maine, Residence

This house, completed in 1996, reflects my affinity for Scandinavian design. Perhaps a bit ahead of its time, the home's ground floor features dyed concrete radiant floors. The house was depicted on the cover of the inaugural issue of Maine Home + Design Magazine.

Farmington Public Library, Maine

Faced with the need to enlarge Farmington's historic 1903 library, I worked with the library's directors and staff to create a contemporary addition that, while reflecting today's technology and materials, would also pay homage to the stately original building in scale, color, and form.

Maine State House

I began work on the Maine State House about 30 years ago. At that time, the building was in terrible shape. Through many years of extensive renovation and modernization, the building today is a proper showcase for the people of Maine. In 2018, I was honored by the Maine Senate for my work in restoring this historically significant and beautiful building.
